License

Every design on Free Christmas SVG is original and free to download. This page explains what you can do with the files. It applies to all designs on the site, in every format (SVG, PNG, WebP, JPG and any file you export from the customizer).

The short version

• Yes: personal projects, gifts, home and classroom decorations.
• Yes: selling up to 500 finished physical items per design, such as shirts, mugs, ornaments, cards, signs and stickers.
• Yes: changing colors, resizing, combining designs and adding your own text.
• No: selling, sharing or giving away the digital files, or anything that lets someone else get the design file.
• No: using a design in a logo, trademark or brand identity.
• No: claiming you created the design.

Credit is not required, though a link back is always appreciated.

Personal use

You can use any design for personal, non-commercial projects without limit: gifts, decorations for your home, church or school, party supplies, family photos and so on. You can also share photos of what you made on social media.

Small-business commercial use

You can use the designs to make and sell finished physical products, up to 500 items per design across all your sales channels. Examples:

• Vinyl decals and iron-on shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags
• Ornaments, signs, coasters and other cut or engraved items
• Greeting cards, gift tags and stickers you print and ship
• Laser-cut or engraved wood and acrylic

A “finished item” is something the buyer receives as a physical object. The design must be part of a product you make, not the product itself.

If you need more than 500 items of one design, please contact us before you go over. We are happy to talk about it.

What is not allowed

• Selling or sharing the files. You may not sell, share, upload or give away the files, whether original or modified, on their own or in a bundle. This includes digital downloads, printables, “SVG bundles”, freebie groups, cloud folders and file-sharing sites.
• Print-on-demand marketplaces where buyers choose the design. Uploading designs to services where the platform or the buyer uses the artwork on their own products (for example open design marketplaces) is not allowed, because the design itself becomes the product. Using print-on-demand to fulfill your own finished products, within the 500-item limit, is fine.
• Logos and trademarks. Do not use a design, even modified, as part of a logo, brand mark or trademark application.
• Claiming authorship. Do not present the designs as your own original artwork, and do not enter them in design contests.
• Machine-learning datasets. Do not include the files in datasets used to train image-generation models.
• Unlawful or hateful use. Do not use the designs in anything illegal, defamatory or hateful.

Sharing with others

If a friend, customer or group member wants a design, share the link to its page instead of the file. That way they get the latest version, the customizer and this license.

Ownership

The designs remain the property of [OWNER NAME], trading as Free Christmas SVG. Downloading a file gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it as described on this page; it does not transfer ownership or copyright.

No warranty

The files are provided “as is”. We check every design for clean cutting, but we cannot guarantee results on every machine, material or setting. Please test-cut before a large run.

We may update this license for new downloads. Files you downloaded before a change keep the license that applied when you downloaded them.
