About this design
Most snowflakes lose their detail when you shrink them. The Tiny Crystal Snowflake was designed for small sizes from the start. It has thick, even arms, a single pair of sturdy branches and a big round dot at every tip, with a round disc at the center. Nothing about it is fragile.
It looks friendly and a little playful, and it is the design to choose when you need lots of snowflakes at once: confetti, stickers, gift tags, earrings and patterned backgrounds.
Project ideas
- Sticker sheets. Use the PNG with Print Then Cut to make a sheet of small snowflake stickers.
- Earrings. Cut 1.5-inch pairs from faux leather, cork or acrylic.
- Snowflake confetti. Cut dozens from glitter cardstock for the table or inside cards.
- Sleeve and pocket designs. Small iron-on flakes on shirt sleeves or jeans pockets.
- Pattern fills. Repeat it across a gift bag or tote in a scattered pattern.
Color ideas
The default bright blue with a pale blue center layer is cheerful and wintry. Some alternatives:
- White on everything for classic snow
- Pastels (pink, mint, lavender) for a kids’ winter party
- Gold glitter for New Year’s confetti
- Silver and white for elegant table scatter
Size and cutting tips
This design cuts and weeds cleanly from 1.5 inches wide, the smallest size of any snowflake in the collection. That makes it perfect for confetti, small stickers and jewelry.
When cutting many at once, use your software’s duplicate or offset tools to fill a mat, leaving at least a quarter inch between flakes. For stickers, the PNG export at 600 pixels per flake gives a crisp 2-inch print at 300 dpi.
Step by step: a sheet of snowflake stickers
- Download the color SVG and open the customizer to set the colors you want.
- Export a PNG at 600 pixels for 2-inch stickers.
- Upload the PNG to your cutting software as a Print Then Cut image, and duplicate it to fill the printable area.
- Print on printable sticker paper, then let the machine cut around each snowflake.
- Peel and use them on gift wrap, planners, envelopes and kids’ crafts.
Why small sizes work here
Small snowflakes usually fail because their branches become thinner than the blade can handle. This one keeps every arm, branch and dot wide relative to its size, so even at 1.5 inches the thinnest part stays above a millimeter. That is why it is the go-to design for confetti and stickers.
Pairs well with
Pair it with the Bold Starburst Snowflake for a second small design, or the Mini Candy Cane Set for a mixed confetti scatter.
