About this design
The Double Outline Christmas Star is two stars in one. The outer star is a bold frame, a star-shaped band with an open middle, and a smaller solid star sits neatly inside it with an even gap all around. The two pieces line up perfectly whether you cut them from the same color or different ones.
The gap between frame and center gives the design a crisp, graphic outline that reads well from a distance, a little like a badge or a reward sticker.

Size and cutting tips
This design passes our cut checks from about 2.5 inches wide. Because the frame and center are separate pieces, group them before resizing and use transfer tape to keep the gap even when applying vinyl.
For iron-on in two colors, press the frame first, peel the carrier, then place and press the center.
Step by step: a two-color shirt
- Download the color SVG and size it to 8 inches.
- Cut the frame from red iron-on and the center star from gold glitter iron-on, both mirrored.
- Press the red frame first, centered on the shirt.
- Peel the carrier, then place the gold center star inside the frame, using the even gap as your guide.
- Cover with a pressing sheet and press again.
- Turn the shirt inside out to wash so the glitter layer lasts.
Good to know
The two pieces nest exactly, so you can also cut them from the same sheet and keep the gap for a one-color look with an outlined star.
A note on sizing
At large sizes the gap between frame and center grows too, so a wall decal keeps the same crisp outline as a small tag.
Pairs well with
The Star Cut-Out Christmas Star and the Classic Five-Point Christmas Star make a coordinated trio.
