About this design
The Scalloped Edge Wreath trades leaves for a soft, wavy edge. Sixteen rounded scallops run all the way around the outside of a wide ring, the inside is a clean circle, and a bow sits at the bottom. In the color version, a lighter accent ring runs just inside the opening.
With no fine leaves or spikes, it is a bold, friendly shape that cuts beautifully from thick and textured materials.

Size and cutting tips
This wreath passes our cut checks from about 1.5 inches wide and handles thick materials easily. For felt, the scallops cut cleanly with a rotary blade.
The bow loops are small cut-outs; weed them first.
Step by step: a cookie tin lid
- Measure the lid of a round cookie tin.
- Size the color SVG to half an inch smaller than the lid.
- Cut the wreath from green permanent vinyl, the accent ring from light green and the bow from red.
- Clean the lid and apply the green wreath with transfer tape.
- Add the accent ring and the bow.
- Add a name or “Cookies” in the center, then fill the tin and give it away.
Good to know
The scallops add a soft, cozy edge that suits baked goods, kitchens and children’s decor especially well.
Variations to try
- Cut it from red felt with a white bow.
- Make a giant foam board version for a party backdrop.
- Use it as a frame for a child’s photo.
A note on materials
The rounded scallops have no points to tear, so this is one of the best wreaths for felt, craft foam and thick chipboard. A felt version in red with a white bow makes a soft, child-safe decoration for a nursery door or a playroom.
