About this design
The Monogram Wreath Frame is built for personalization. Instead of leaves sticking out from a ring, eighteen leaf shapes are cut into a wide circular band, alternating slightly in and out, so the leaves appear as windows. The center is a large clean circle, ready for an initial, a monogram or a short name.
The wide band makes it one of the sturdiest wreath frames in the collection, and the color version adds light green leaf inlays that fill the windows.

- Red band with white leaves for a candy-colored look
Size and cutting tips
This frame passes our cut checks from about 1.5 inches wide, though the leaf windows weed most easily from 3 inches. Weed the eighteen leaves first, then the center, then the outer waste.
For a monogram, choose a letter that fills about two-thirds of the center circle and attach it before cutting.
Step by step: a monogram tote bag
- Download the solid SVG and size it to 9 inches.
- Add a large initial in a classic serif font, sized to fill about two-thirds of the center circle.
- Attach the initial to the wreath so they cut in place.
- Mirror the design and cut it from green iron-on.
- Weed the eighteen leaves first, then the center, then the outer waste.
- Press it onto a natural canvas tote, centered about three inches below the handles.
Good to know
The leaves are cut into the band rather than attached to it, so the frame keeps a smooth, perfect circle for an outline. That clean edge makes it look polished on bags, shirts and signs.
Variations to try
- Back the leaf windows with glitter paper on a cardstock version.
- Use gold vinyl for a wedding monogram.
- Put a full name in the center instead of an initial.
Pairs well with
The Hexagon Window Snowflake, Ring of Stars Wreath and Candy Cane Ring Wreath are other frames with open centers.
