About this design
The Berry Ring Wreath is all berries. Twenty-six round berries sit along a ring, alternating between the inner and outer edge, so the wreath has a bubbly, scalloped outline both inside and out. There are no fine leaves or spikes, which makes it one of the sturdiest wreaths in the collection.
It looks cheerful and modern, and it is a great choice for thick materials, kids’ crafts and big door hangers.
Project ideas
- Door hangers. Cut from foam board or wood at 14 inches and paint the berries.
- Felt wreaths. Red felt berries on a green felt ring.
- Kids’ crafts. Children glue pom-poms or buttons on each berry.
- Shirts. A bold red wreath around a name.
- Coasters. Engrave a small berry wreath on cork.
Color ideas
The default color version uses a dark green ring with red berries. Other ideas:
- Gold berries on a white ring for a glam look
- Mixed red and white berries for a candy feel
- Blue berries on a silver ring for a winter wreath
- All green for a single-color decal
Size and cutting tips
This wreath passes our cut checks from about 1.5 inches wide and handles thick materials easily. For door hangers, 12 to 16 inches gives a strong, bold shape.
For layered cardstock, cut the ring from green and the berries as a separate red layer on top.
Step by step: a pom-pom door wreath for kids
- Download the solid SVG and size it to 14 inches.
- Cut the ring from green foam board or thick cardstock.
- Let children glue a red pom-pom onto each berry.
- Add a few gold or white pom-poms for variety.
- Tie a ribbon at the top once the glue has dried.
- Hang it on a bedroom or classroom door.
Good to know
Because every berry is the same size, standard craft pom-poms, buttons or round stickers fit neatly, which makes this a great template for group crafts with a lot of children at once.
Variations to try
- Use gold berries on a white ring for an elegant look.
- Make a mini version for gift tags.
- Engrave it on a round wood coaster.
A note on color
Two or three berry colors scattered around the ring look more natural than a single color. Try mostly red with a few white and gold berries.
Pairs well with
The Polka Dot Bauble and the Bauble Dot Christmas Tree share its round, bubbly style.
