About this design
The Candy Cane Ring Wreath bends candy into a circle. A thick striped ring goes all the way around, with the stripes following the curve just as they would on a real twisted candy, and a ribbon bow sits at the bottom. The ring, stripes and bow join into one piece in the solid file.
It is half candy cane, half wreath, and the open center makes it a natural frame for a monogram, a family name or a year.

Color ideas
The default color version is red with white stripes and a green bow. Other ideas:

Size and cutting tips
This design passes our cut checks from about 1.5 inches wide, though the stripes look best from 4 inches up. For door hangers cut from wood or foam board, 10 to 14 inches is a good size.
The bow loops have small openings; weed them first.
Step by step: a monogram door hanger
- Download the color SVG and size it to 14 inches.
- Cut the ring from 1/4-inch wood or foam board and paint it red.
- Paint the stripes white using the color file’s stripe layer as a stencil.
- Cut and paint the bow green and glue it at the bottom.
- Cut a large initial and glue it across the middle of the ring.
- Tie a ribbon at the top to hang it on the door.
Good to know
Because the stripes follow the circle, the ring looks like a real candy cane bent into a wreath rather than a striped hoop.
Variations to try
- Use a family name across the middle instead of an initial.
- Make a mini version as a cookie tin lid decal.
A note on construction
The bow overlaps the bottom of the ring, so the two join into one piece and the wreath hangs straight.
