About this design
The Heart-Shaped Wreath bends a leafy wreath into a heart. A wide heart-shaped band is covered with leaves angled along its curve, and a small bow sits at the top where the two lobes meet. The center is a large open heart, perfect for names and dates.
It brings together the warmth of a wreath and the sentiment of a heart, which makes it a natural fit for first Christmas keepsakes, weddings and family gifts.

Color ideas
The default color version uses a dark green band, green leaves and a red bow. Other ideas:
- Blush leaves with a burgundy bow for a wedding

Size and cutting tips
This wreath passes our cut checks from about 1.5 inches wide, and a wide band means it holds up well in wood and thick cardstock. For text inside, size the wreath first, then fit the text in the heart with a quarter inch to spare.
The bow loops are small cut-outs; weed them first.
Step by step: a first Christmas keepsake
- Download the solid SVG and size it to 6 inches.
- Cut it from 3 mm wood on a laser.
- Engrave or paint the baby’s name in the center of the heart and the year below it.
- Paint the wreath green and the bow red, or leave the wood natural with a painted bow.
- Seal it with a clear coat.
- Add a ribbon at the bow for hanging on the tree or a nursery wall.
Good to know
The wide heart band is strong enough for wood and acrylic, so the keepsake survives being packed and unpacked every December.
